Tournament Schedule

On the morning of the tournament, try to arrive no later than 8:45 a.m. so that we can attend to last minute registration changes. There will be a coaches meeting at 9:15 a.m. Following the coaches meeting, the players will be briefed and the tournament will start.

You will need to bring to the tournament:

* Chess boards, sets, and clocks - at least one for every two players you bring - more would be good

* An AAA eligibility list, signed by your principal. You may print one from this link ( http://www.ahsaa.org/elig%20form%20A.pdf ) or see your principal or athletic director

* Pencils for each player (for notation)

* Snacks, lunch or lunch money

Time Schedule

8:15-9:00 a.m. - Check in
9:15 a.m. - Mandatory coaches meeting
9:30 a.m. - Round 1 begins
Each round will be G/45, meaning each player gets 45 minutes.  Round 2 will follow as soon as practical after Round 1. 
Lunch break will immediately follow Round 2.
Round 3 start time will be announced at beginning of Round 2.
Rounds 4 & 5 will be started as soon as practical after completion of the previous round.
Award Ceremony following round 5 (approximately 6pm)
